The climb isn't all about blood, sweat and tears.
I’d love to tell you about the scars, but that’s not how I roll. Looking forward bears hope. Looking back should only be about appreciating the view. That said, I love OMD. I love being one of the key people they put in front of panels and media. I recently represented OMD in a Singapore Management University panel with the likes of Samsung, Food Panda and Skyscanner. I am also active in school recruitment programmes, to encourage the next generation to come on the climb with me. I also believe that setting a strong company culture is the way to recruit the right kind of climbers. As such, I’m proud to be the leader of the “Fun Committee”, and encourage random acts of weirdness, which give us a break from the daily grind. Through these activities, we foster stronger bonds with media owners, charity organisations, and most importantly, each other. Do I consider that to be a contribution to the industry? Definitely. Because part of being in this industry is to constantly up the ante.
